Our Story
DEIZ was created in Latvia with a clear idea: to rethink the outdoor sauna as a complete wooden architectural object rather than a conventional garden building. Our approach is based on Cross-Laminated Timber, clean geometry, panoramic glazing and carefully considered details.
We produce our own CLT panels specifically for sauna construction and visible timber surfaces. Narrower lamellas, additional bonding between the lamellas and carefully selected visible faces help us achieve a more continuous and refined wooden surface, where the structure itself becomes part of the finished interior and exterior.
Today, DEIZ combines factory-controlled production with flexible configuration. Alongside our standard sauna models, dimensions, layouts, glazing, heaters and finishes can be adapted to the site and the way each sauna will be used.
The Team Behind
DEIZ is developed and produced by a team in Latvia that works directly with the product - from CLT panel production and detailing to sauna assembly, configuration and preparation for delivery. Keeping these stages close together allows design decisions, material choices and practical site requirements to be considered as one connected process.
