How to Prepare Your Site for an Outdoor Sauna
A DEIZ sauna is made in Riga, Latvia. Before it arrives, the site has to match the format you order: an assembled sauna, or a DIY Kit.
Check access first
An assembled sauna can be delivered if a truck, crane or manipulator can reach the installation place. Access is checked before the order is finalised.
If a finished module cannot reach the site, S, M and L are available as a DIY Kit. The kit is the same CLT sauna, prepared for manual assembly, usually by two people and without heavy machinery.
Leave room for the model
The standard models are:
S, sauna: 2.3 × 2.3 m
M, sauna and terrace: 3.4 × 2.4 m
L, sauna, anteroom and terrace: 6.3 × 2.4 m
Approximate weights are 1.15 t for S, 1.5 t for M and 2.7 t for L. Other layouts are agreed for the project.
Prepare a level, stable base
The sauna needs a level and stable foundation before installation. The foundation, local permits and the electrical connection are your responsibility unless agreed otherwise. The right foundation depends on the site.
Plan the power supply for an electric heater
Any heater option can be used in any model. The heater is chosen for the project. An electric heater needs a suitable three-phase supply. The exact power depends on the heater.
Installation
You can install the sauna yourself, or DEIZ can help with installation for an additional fee, on request.
Delivery
You can collect the sauna in Riga. Prices displayed on this website include applicable VAT. DEIZ can also arrange delivery to the EU, Norway, Switzerland and the UK. Delivery costs are quoted individually according to destination and site access. Any additional import duties or destination-specific taxes, where applicable, are clarified as part of the individual quotation.
A standard model is made in about 6–8 weeks after the 50% advance payment. That period does not include delivery. For a custom project, the schedule is set individually. The order is confirmed with the 50% advance. The remaining 50% is paid before shipment.
